Police in Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur discovered a 10-month-old skeleton buried seven feet underground, identified as 45-year-old Reshma. Authorities allege her lover, Gorelal, murdered her in April last year following an argument. Reshma, a mother of seven, had left her children to live with Gorelal after her husband's death three years prior. Her son, Babloo, became suspicious when Reshma missed a family wedding and Gorelal gave evasive answers, leading him to file a missing persons report. Gorelal has been arrested and reportedly confessed to the crime.
