Mumbai Airport Customs officials arrested a 21-year-old man from Kerala, Muhammed Afsal Valappil, for allegedly smuggling approximately 1.9 kg of hydroponic weed valued at Rs 2 crore from Bangkok. The drugs were found concealed in his trolley bag. Valappil reportedly admitted to the smuggling for financial gain, and authorities are investigating potential involvement of a larger drug cartel.
