A property dealer in northwest Delhi's Begumpur area has been provided security after unidentified assailants fired over two dozen rounds at his vehicle on Friday evening. The incident occurred shortly after the dealer reported receiving extortion threats and calls from an unknown international number demanding a large sum of money. Police found the vehicle with bullet marks and are examining CCTV footage to identify the attackers and trace their route. A case of extortion and firing has been registered.
