Police in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, foiled a drug smuggling attempt, seizing 87 kilograms of poppy husk valued at approximately Rs 25 lakh. A smuggler from Punjab was apprehended using a modified truck with a fake diesel tank to conceal the narcotics. The accused, identified as Butta Singh, confessed to transporting the drugs from Agar district in Madhya Pradesh to Punjab. Authorities noted the sophisticated concealment method, designed to mimic a genuine fuel tank.
