A trustee and a security guard of an Ahmedabad-based college were arrested by the Gujarat Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) for allegedly demanding a bribe of Rs 5 lakh to release the final payments of a retired in-charge principal. The ACB stated that the trustee sought the bribe, with the security guard allegedly accepting Rs 3 lakh of the amount on behalf of the trustee. The complaint was filed by the retired principal after allegedly paying Rs 2 lakh in advance.
