Khanna police in Ludhiana have busted a cross-border drug smuggling module, arresting five individuals and seizing 4.020 kg of heroin. The operation began with a tip-off leading to the apprehension of two smugglers transporting the drugs in a car. Subsequent investigations revealed a wider network, with police identifying the heroin as part of a consignment dropped by Pakistani smugglers via drone. The arrested individuals were allegedly supplying narcotics to various areas, targeting youths and college students.
