
In a special drive against illicit liquor, Narsipatnam Rural police in Andhra Pradesh destroyed approximately 3,200 litres of fermented jaggery wash. The operation, conducted in P. Lakshmipuram and Gadabapalem villages, uncovered a secret brewing unit in cashew plantations. Police seized drums, vessels, and equipment used for manufacturing the illicit liquor, acting on instructions from Superintendent of Police Tuhin Sinha.
