A car carrying four young individuals, including Prerna Bachchan, daughter of former Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Bala Bachchan, collided with a truck on the Tejaji Nagar bypass in Indore early Friday. Prerna, along with Prakhar Kasliwal and Man Sandhu, died at the scene. Anushka Rathi sustained severe injuries and was hospitalized. Police are investigating the cause, with preliminary reports suggesting high speed and poor visibility. Some sources indicate the driver may have been under the influence of alcohol and lost control. The truck driver has been detained.
