Odisha Vigilance arrested revenue inspector Surendra Kumar Dash in Angul district for allegedly accepting a Rs 6,000 bribe. Dash, of Tusar circle, was caught demanding and receiving the money from a landowner seeking plot demarcation. The landowner reported that Dash initially demanded Rs 10,000, but the amount was reduced. A case has been registered under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
