Police have arrested a man and a woman in Ropar for allegedly trapping a businessman in a honey trap and robbing him of gold ornaments and cash. The accused, identified as Harjit Kaur and Ishav Bhardwaj, reportedly met the victim through a dating app. After meeting, the victim allegedly consumed an intoxicant mixed in his coffee, leading to his incapacitation. The pair then allegedly stole gold jewelry and cash before attempting to flee. Both have been remanded to police custody.
