Surat police have arrested Abid Ali, also known as Rahman Daku, a notorious criminal accused of masterminding a large criminal network across 12 to 14 states. Ali, who led over six gangs involved in robbery, extortion, impersonation, and land grabbing, was apprehended in Surat following a tip-off. He is reported to have impersonated law enforcement to target senior citizens and was wanted in multiple states for numerous criminal cases.
