Police in Kumram Bheem Asifabad district have arrested an unqualified medical practitioner, Bikshapathi, for allegedly administering a fatal overdose of an injection to a young girl. The girl, Akshara, reportedly received the injection on November 11 for vomiting. Her health deteriorated, leading to kidney failure and complications, and she died on December 29 while undergoing treatment in Hyderabad. Bikshapathi had been operating a clinic without qualifications for years.
