A 45-year-old man, Raghuveer Dhakar, died in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, after a kite string slit his throat while he was riding his motorcycle. The incident occurred between Khajrana Chowk and Bengali Chowk. In a separate incident at MY Hospital, a nurse allegedly severed an infant's thumb while removing medical equipment, though surgery to reattach it was successful. Action has been taken against the hospital staff involved.
