The Special Investigation Team (SIT) raided the Chengannur residence of Thantri Kanthar Rajeeva, who is in judicial custody for the Sabarimala gold theft case. The SIT aimed to gather evidence of financial dealings related to the case, inspecting documents and bank statements. Police restricted access during the search, preventing relatives and the Thantri's lawyer daughter-in-law from entering the premises to ensure an undisturbed investigation.
