A 36-year-old transgender individual, identified as Pandi alias Shilpa, was discovered murdered in a makeshift tent off the Vanagaram service road in Chennai. Shilpa, who reportedly engaged in sex work, was last seen on Friday night. Police suspect unknown assailants took her to a tin shed where she was assaulted and killed.
