A 60-year-old woman in Thane, Maharashtra, has been arrested for allegedly killing her daughter-in-law over a dispute concerning a government job and gratuity money. The accused reportedly wanted to keep her deceased son's gratuity and secure a job for her grandson, while the victim had applied for the position herself. The victim was found with severe injuries near a bridge, and an initial missing person report by the accused turned into a murder investigation.
