In Nashik's Sinnar taluka, a farmer named Gorakh Jadhav was attacked by a leopard while he was watering his crops. During the struggle, both the farmer and the leopard fell into a nearby well, resulting in the death of both. Villagers, angered by the farmer's death, prevented forest officials from rescuing the leopard, which also died from injuries sustained in the fall.
