
In Nagpur, a 12-year-old boy was rescued by police after his parents allegedly chained him for months due to his alleged stealing habits and misbehavior. The parents, daily wage laborers, claimed they resorted to this extreme measure to control him while they were at work. The child, who had dropped out of school, was found with injuries and in a distressed state. Authorities registered a case against the parents under the Juvenile Justice Act, and the boy is now receiving counseling and care.
