Three to four women allegedly stole gold jewelry worth approximately 14 lakh rupees from a Kalyan Jewellers store in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. The incident, which occurred on December 31, was captured on CCTV and reportedly lasted 14 minutes. The women reportedly distracted a salesperson while one woman removed a display pad of earrings from a showcase, concealing it under a shawl. The theft was discovered later when staff reviewed inventory and CCTV footage. An FIR has been filed against four unidentified women, and police are examining footage to identify and apprehend the suspects.
