Police in Thane, Maharashtra, arrested a 23-year-old man, Aman Tamin Gadkari, in the Kausa locality early Tuesday. Officials reported seizing 71.2 grams of mephedrone (MD), a banned synthetic drug, valued at approximately Rs 14.24 lakh. The accused, a resident of Mumbra, was allegedly carrying the contraband to sell in the area. A case has been registered against him under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
