In Madhya Pradesh's Vidisha district, several recently installed speed breakers, costing approximately Rs 8 lakh, were stolen overnight from busy city roads. The theft, which occurred from locations including the main road and near the District Court, has raised concerns among residents about public safety and the effectiveness of surveillance and policing. Authorities have registered a case and are investigating by reviewing CCTV footage to identify the perpetrators and understand how the speed breakers were removed.
