Assam's Special Investigation Team (SIT) informed a court that the murder of singer Zubeen Garg was premeditated and financially motivated. Investigators allege Garg's former manager, Siddharth Sharma, siphoned crores and invested over Rs 1.10 crore in a water plant business to protect the misappropriated funds. The SIT is seeking attachment of the Mahabir Aqua Water Plant to prevent asset liquidation and ensure potential compensation for Garg's estate.
