Delhi Police have arrested two more individuals, Fahim and Shehzad, bringing the total number of arrests to 18 in connection with the violence that erupted during an anti-encroachment drive near Turkman Gate's Faiz-e-Ilahi Mosque. The incident on January 7 involved alleged stone-pelting at police and MCD officials by a crowd, reportedly incited by social media posts falsely claiming the mosque was being demolished. Five police personnel were injured. Authorities are using CCTV footage, social media videos, and drone surveillance to identify and apprehend further suspects, while also investigating the spread of misinformation.
