A former caretaker, Ashok Kumar Sen, has been arrested in Rajasthan for the double murder and robbery of an elderly couple in Delhi's Shahdara. The victims, Virender Kumar Bansal (71) and Parvesh Bansal (65), were found dead in their home. Police stated the crime initially appeared to be a 'perfect' murder with minimal evidence, but a 500-km chase and technical analysis led to Sen's apprehension. He allegedly confessed to robbing the couple of gold jewellery worth approximately 10 lakh due to financial crisis.
