Punjab Police have arrested two shooters and an accomplice in connection with the December 15, 2025, murder of kabaddi promoter Rana Balachauria. The arrests were made in Howrah, West Bengal, following an intelligence-led operation spanning multiple states and involving central agencies. The accused, identified as Karan Pathak, Tarandeep Singh, and Akashdeep, are allegedly linked to gang rivalries over kabaddi tournaments. This brings the total number of arrested individuals in the case to five, with efforts ongoing to apprehend remaining associates.
