The operation was uncovered following a complaint from a resident defrauded of Rs 18,000 by a caller posing as a credit card representative. The arrested include the alleged owner, who supplied fake SIM cards and data, and telecallers. The accused have varying educational backgrounds, with three under police remand for further interrogation.
