IIT Ropar has laid the foundation stone for the Dr Ishan Avdhoot Shivanand Centre for Yogic Sciences and Holistic Development, aimed at integrating traditional yogic practices with modern science for student and faculty wellness. The institute also announced the Dr Ishan Shivanand Scholarship for Gifted Youth, offering 10 fully funded scholarships annually to underprivileged undergraduate and postgraduate students.
