An Indian tech graduate from the University of Galway has cautioned prospective students against studying in Ireland, citing significant challenges for non-EU graduates. The graduate reported that out of a batch of 130, only about 15 secured tech jobs, with most taking non-tech roles. He highlighted increased employer reluctance to sponsor visas due to a higher salary threshold, leading many to return to India. Concerns were also raised about the high risk of defaulting on education loans.
