The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) will mandate a digital 'E-Diary' for CA students starting their articleship from January 1, 2026. This platform will digitally record daily attendance, tasks performed, and stipend details, aiming to enhance transparency, uniformity, and monitoring of practical training. Trainees will submit fortnightly work records, which principals will review and approve. The system integrates with the Self-Service Portal (SSP) and aims to align training outcomes with the institute's competency framework.
