PGIMER Chandigarh commenced its new academic session with the induction of 350 resident doctors. Chief guest Ajeet Bajaj, a mountaineer, and his daughter Deeya Bajaj, who addressed the predominantly female cohort, emphasized gender equality and women's potential. PGIMER Director Dr. Vivek Lal highlighted the significant responsibility of medical professionals, referring to them as 'paratroopers in white coats' and encouraging the new doctors to embrace their roles.
