Twenty-six students from grades 8-10 participated in the CSIR-CCMB's Young Innovators Program, gaining hands-on research experience in molecular biology labs. The program, held from December 23 to January 2, allowed students to observe scientists and even clone a gene under supervision. This initiative aims to foster an understanding of biotech tools and encourage young people to engage in scientific research, with plans for similar workshops for teachers and journalists.
