The Karnataka State Women's Commission has subsequently written to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) seeking appropriate action. A social activist also filed a complaint with the CBFC, citing similar concerns about the teaser's content and its public circulation. CBFC sources noted that the teaser, released online, does not require certification.
