Renowned Hindustani classical vocalist Pandit Omkar Dadarkar will perform in Assam's Dibrugarh and Tinsukia districts from January 5-7, 2026. Organized by SPIC MACAY Dibrugarh Chapter, the recitals will take place at educational institutions and Assam Medical College and Hospital. Dadarkar, trained in Gwalior and Jaipur-Atrauli gharanas and a recipient of the Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar, will be accompanied by Mohd. Akhlaq on harmonium and Anchit Majhi on tabla. SPIC MACAY aims to bring Indian classical arts to students.
