A literary function was organized in Patiala by Punjabi Sahit Sabha (Regd.) to honor the memory of Punjabi poet Balbir Jalalabadi. Several writers attended, emphasizing the significant role writers play in society, their contribution to literature, and the importance of protecting life values and supporting struggling groups. The close relationship between language, literature, and culture was also highlighted.
