The 24th Pune International Film Festival (PIFF) 2026 will honor cinema veterans Biswajit Chatterjee, Farida Jalal, and Asha Kale with the PIFF Distinguished Award, and Amar Haldipur with the S.D. Burman International Award. The festival, opening January 15, will feature a Marathi film competition with seven selected entries, including 'Adishesh' and 'Gondhal,' judged by an international jury. Additional Marathi films will be showcased, alongside workshops and lectures by notable figures.
