Filmmaker Nikkhil Advani revealed that the entire initial budget of ₹3 crore for the Bollywood film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham was spent on shooting the song 'Bole Chudiyan'. Advani recounted the chaotic first day of shooting the song, where director Karan Johar fainted and lead actress Kajol faced issues with her costume. Producer Yash Johar, upon learning the song's cost exceeded the film's total budget, reportedly tore up the initial budget paper and told the team to proceed with making the film.
