The planned re-release of Kapil Sharma's comedy film, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2, scheduled for January 9, 2026, has been cancelled at the last minute. Producers cited difficulties in securing an adequate number of cinema screens and favorable showtimes, a problem that also plagued the film's initial December 12, 2025 release. Competition from major films like 'Dhurandhar' and 'Avatar: Fire and Ash' limited its showcasing. The distribution partner reportedly assured 500 screens but could only secure 200-250, leading to the producers' dissatisfaction and the cancellation.
