Jalal revealed that Bhardwaj asked if she would use profanity, to which she agreed, setting boundaries that she would not use explicit or "mother-sister" insults. She explained that while she was initially surprised, she accepted the role as it suited the character and that the mild curse word was necessary for the portrayal, despite her long-held image.
