Hyderabad is set to host its inaugural large-scale hot air balloon festival from January 16-18, organized by the Telangana Tourism Development Corporation. The event will feature 15 international-standard balloons with foreign pilots, offering morning rides over 8-10 km and evening 'night glow' shows. Morning flights will have limited passenger capacity due to wind-dependent landing sites, while evening events at Parade Grounds will accommodate more people. This festival aims to enhance Hyderabad's tourism offerings.
