Mumbai hosted the 179th Aradhana festival celebrating the legacy of Carnatic music composer Thyagaraja. Over 75 musicians participated in the event at Sri Shanmukhananda Fine Arts and Sangeetha Sabha, performing Thyagaraja's Pancharatna Kritis. The festival commemorated Thyagaraja's samadhi day and highlighted his devotion to Lord Rama and his extensive compositions, many of which remain influential in Carnatic music.
