Kolkata is preparing for the 55th Statesman Vintage and Classic Car Rally, scheduled for Sunday at the Royal Calcutta Turf Club. The event, which began in 1968, is the country's oldest running vintage car rally. Approximately 160 vintage cars and 50 two-wheelers will participate in a 30-km rally, showcasing iconic marques like Rolls Royce, Studebaker, and Chevrolet. Notable entries include a 1928 Studebaker President 8 State Limousine and a 1948 Plymouth Special Deluxe with historical significance.
