The Indian National Cine Academy (INCA) has been launched in Mumbai, aiming to unite 12 regional film industries, including Bollywood and four South Indian industries (Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada). Founded by producer Vishnu Vardhan Induri, INCA seeks to bridge the gap between Hindi cinema and other regional film sectors by fostering talent exchange and pan-India access. The initiative also encompasses Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Bhojpuri, Assamese, and Odia film industries, with the goal of presenting the Indian film industry as a unified entity.
