This marks his first public performance since revealing a diagnosis of normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH), a brain disorder, in May 2025. Joel had previously cancelled concerts to manage his condition, with his last full concert in February 2025. He recently stated in an interview that he was feeling alright but his condition was still being worked on.
