The three-day Avakai-Amaravati Festival, celebrating cinema, culture, and literature in Vijayawada, concluded successfully on January 10th. The event attracted over 7,000 visitors, featuring musical performances, a tribute to N. T. Rama Rao, and a concert by Javed Ali. Minister Kandula Durgesh announced the next edition will be held from December 17-19, 2026, and highlighted the festival as a model for future state events.
