Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) presented its New Year Awards 2026 to five distinguished individuals on January 10 in Manipal. The recipients included former minister K. Jayaprakash Hegde, former Canara Bank executive director K. Lakshminarayanan, Thumbay Group-UAE founder Thumbay Moideen, actor Vinaya Prasad, and MAHE vice chancellor Lt Gen M.D. Venkatesh. The awards were presented by MAHE officials and trustees.
