Thiruvananthapuram will host the fourth Kerala Legislative Assembly International Book Festival from January 7-13, 2026. The event will feature a blend of literature, art, and tradition, including ritualistic Theyyam performances from North Kerala, presented nightly from January 8-12. Culture Minister Saji Cherian and Speaker A.N. Shamseer will inaugurate the Theyyam segment. A Kalaripayattu demonstration is also scheduled. The festival aims to offer diverse cultural experiences within the Assembly complex.
