
Diljit Singh Dosanjh, a Punjabi singer and actor, rose from humble beginnings as the son of a Punjab Roadways ticket checker. Despite completing only 10th standard, he pursued music, releasing his first album in 2004. Dosanjh gained recognition for his music, including a BBC Asian Download Chart topping song, and later transitioned to acting in Punjabi and Hindi films. His career highlights include a Madame Tussauds wax statue and a Met Gala appearance.
