
A fire broke out in an 18-storey residential building in Andheri (West), Mumbai, on Saturday afternoon, causing panic and requiring the evacuation of 27 residents. The blaze originated in an electrical duct on the first floor and spread to the fourth, filling common areas with smoke. Four individuals, including one resident and three firefighters, sustained minor injuries. Firefighting systems were reportedly functional, aiding in containing the fire, which was extinguished within two hours.
