
Delhi experienced severe cold wave conditions with minimum temperatures dropping to around 3-4 degrees Celsius, marking one of the coldest January mornings in recent years. Simultaneously, the city's air quality deteriorated to the 'very poor' category, with the Air Quality Index (AQI) reaching 337-357. Dense fog also persisted, reducing visibility. These conditions are expected to continue for the next few days, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
