The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast these conditions to persist for several days across multiple states, including Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Odisha. Minimum temperatures have dropped below freezing in parts of Kashmir, and fog is expected in many other regions.
